The Town Council has a small administrarive team who undertake work on behalf of the Town Council in respect of meetings and events.
When you contact the Town Council, these are the people who will normally deal with your enquiry:
Mrs Donna Johnston,AILCM, Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer
Donna has been with the Town Council since 2005 and has progressed from Office Manager to Deputy Town Clerk and now to Town Clerk within that time. Donna completed the Certificate in Local Council Administration in 2009 and is also an Associate of the Institute of Local Council Management.
Mr Terry Crook, Deputy Town Clerk
Terry was appointed as Deputy Town Clerk in April 2010. Terry brings a wide range of Local Government experience after over 30 years with West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service and is no stranger to the Town Council after assisting in a number of temporary positions since 2005.
Ms Louise Finnegan, Administrative Assistant
Louise has been with the Town Council since 1998 and has provided support to three Town Clerks during that time. Louise provides administrative support to the Town Council and often assists with events such as the Gala and Christmas Lights Switch On.
